Reasons why people don’t try something new!

1) People are unaware that there could be another way of doing a few things! For eg: One hack to get up early is to keep an alarm in such a place where you can hear it loud and clear but have to get up to switch it off!

2) People think it won’t work because your friends have done it before and you’re exactly loke your friends. PS: No two individuals are 100% same.

3) They are already doing something else and have to complete that pending task because well, we are self-proclaimed people who have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). During this time one needs to assess the worth of that pending task. How is it going to help me?

4) Because what if we Fail!!! What will the society think of us? Let me assure you that no matter what you do in life, there will always be haters! Fact check: All successful people love to brag about their failures because that’s what has brought them to the place they are in.

5) Because you were told to do something new. It was not your idea! So, EGO!! You take complete ownership of your actions. Just remember that no one can take it away from you.

6) Because you have failed a lot of times. To keep things in perspective, Colonel Sander’s (KFC guy) first sell was after 1009 attempts. Which number do you stop at? 5? 6? Duhh.

7) You’re comfortable doing it the way you’re. Well then, how will you learn or grow in life if you do the same things over and over again? Typical Answer is I don’t care if I don’t grow. I am happy. Well then don’t complain later when things don’t go your way or don’t ever repent of not trying something out before.

8) Don’t understand the benefits of trying that something new. Well, ask the right questions to the right people — the experts!

9) I already have a lot of challenges and there’s a lot on my plate. Well if it really is, you won’t have time to think or complain. You just get on with your work!!

How to keep Conversations going?

You’re in a social gathering, a complete stranger to all and you have to be there for some necessary purpose or reason and you have somehow been successful in initiating a conversation with somebody but can’t find a way out to continue your conversation!

Nice Conversation!

How many of us find it really awkward or difficult to start a conversation with a stranger? First of All, is it really required? What am I going to get from it? The other person should approach me first! Ahh, forget it! It’s waste of time.
