“It is difficult to follow your dream. It is a tragedy not to.” — Oprah Winfrey
There cannot be anything in this world, no reason, no explanation worthy enough to keep doing things you hate doing. In the long run, it is easier to learn new things rather than live a life of regret and falsehood.
We always stick to excuses because that’s the easier thing to do.
You have two options:
1) To stop doing things you hate
2) To eventually not mind doing the things you hate doing.
If you hate your job, look for another one or start something of your own and if nothing works out, change your thinking — change your life. If your EMIs are too much, change your lifestyle so that there are less EMIs. (Read about Gary Vaynerchuck’s entrepreneurial journey, on how he cut down his expenses.)
If you hate working for someone else, figure a way out to do something for yourself. If you hate your weight, do something about it. If you hate the way you look, change your thought process, be around people who’ll admire the way you are and value you as a person. If you hate your life, do something to transform it, get a coach who will open up your mind and give a solid direction.
Are you pissed off at me for making it sound so simple?
Well, it is simple!!Your thoughts and excuses and your conditioning make it difficult to believe that it is simple. Your choices determine your reality. You’ve got yourself in this position, now get out of this position yourself for which I know you’re highly capable of.
